Whatever your personal wellness goals, Wondrous Roots, Inc. provides both the nutritional know-how and the resources to help you achieve them. Nutritional consultant Rebecca L. Montrone holds a bachelor of science degree in holistic nutrition from The Clayton College of Natural Health and is presently continuing on to complete her graduate work.  At the same time she maintains a private consulting practice and "Herbal Apothecary."  Becky's passion for health and vitality began when she opened her mother's copy of Adelle Davis' Let's Have Healthy Children many years ago - when Becky was still in her teens.  After tragically losing her mother to Alzheimer's disease, when her mother was only 58, Becky resolved to discover and share as much as possible about how to prevent disease and enjoy a long life of vibrant health.

Although Becky uses diet and supplement strategies of many kinds, she has a fondness for working with medicinal plants and hand-crafts the Wondrous Roots, Inc. line of herbal tinctures and other unique herbal products. 


Learning at "the knee" of her father, renowned compounding pharmacist E. George Roentsch - of The Apothecary in Keene, New Hampshire - Becky carries on her family's multi-generational mortar & pestle tradition using the medicines of the earth. These specialty products are now featured in the Wondrous Roots "herbal apothecary" and will be available for online sale in the near future.

Located within the charming walls of historic Gilcreast House in Londonderry, home of WellSpring Natural Health & Beauty, the Wondrous Roots "herbal apothecary" can be found just up the center stairway.  Visit this magical, peaceful, place reminiscent of  "pharmacy" from days of yore. Learn from Becky how herbal medicines are traditionally made; allow her to formulate an herbal extract combination to suit your particular need, craft a bath or skin luxury using your selection of oils and fragrances, or fill out a Bach flower essence questionnaire and receive a compounded formula unique to you!  Becky also stocks high-quality nutritional supplements, aromatherapy products, and homeopathic medicines for your shopping convenience. 

Becky's favorite source for bulk herbs is Mountain Rose Herbs! She uses their bulk herbs and product formulating ingredients in many of the Wondrous Roots, Inc. herbal products...she can often be found enjoying a cup of one of their exquisite teas while working on the latest concoction.
